Chicago Bulls
In March 2025, KUD Bosna Chicago made history as the first Bosnian folklore group to perform at the United Center during a Bulls game. Just before tipoff, over 50 kids proudly showcased our traditional dances in front of a packed arena — representing Bosnian culture on one of the world’s biggest stages.
The Bulls staff and event crew were genuinely impressed, praising the group’s professionalism, energy, and precision. Thousands of fans applauded, many seeing Bosnian folklore for the first time. Our community also showed up strong — with hundreds of tickets sold through KUD Bosna.
The moment didn’t stop there. FaceTV and other Bosnian media outlets aired the performance, and clips quickly spread online, reaching tens of thousands. For many, it was a once-in-a-generation moment of cultural pride and visibility — and one we’ll never forget.
This performance was more than just a show — it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when culture, youth, and community come together. For the kids, it was a dream realized; for the audience, an unforgettable glimpse into the beauty of Bosnian tradition. And for the Bosnian-American community in Chicago, it was a milestone moment of pride, unity, and visibility on a global platform.
