KUD Bosna Chicago – First Folklor Festival Performance
In 2024, KUD Bosna Chicago took its first major step onto the folklore stage, participating in our very first folklor festival performance. It was a night filled with pride, nerves, and emotion, as all of our groups — from the youngest to the oldest — performed together for the first time in front of a live audience.

What made the moment even more incredible was that the kids had only been practicing for a few months leading up to the festival. Despite their limited time together, the energy, spirit, and determination they brought to the stage were undeniable. The auditorium was filled with family and friends who cheered, clapped, and shared in the overwhelming emotion of seeing a dream come to life.

It wasn’t just a performance — it was a milestone. A symbol of what can be achieved when a community comes together around a common purpose. Many in the audience were moved to tears, watching their children proudly represent their roots through music and dance. It marked the official beginning of KUD Bosna Chicago’s journey — and set the tone for the future we are still building today.
